About

The War Record

Every front, sourced daily. A public record of the US-Israel-Iran war and the Russia-Ukraine war, for readers, newsrooms, researchers and anyone checking what happened.

What it is

A dated, sourced record of events, statements, claims and casualty figures, with every claim checked the same way whoever makes it, with a permanent link for every record. Most trackers follow one side's sources or one kind of event. This one keeps what happened apart from what was said, gives each party a track record, and sets every counting body's figures side by side.

How it is made

Records are gathered and drafted every day, checked against the rule by an automated gate before anything is published, and corrected in the open. The method is published in full.

Privacy

The site runs no advertising trackers or third-party scripts and sets no cookies of its own. Its one form is the newsletter signup, which posts to this site, not to a third party. See privacy.

Reuse

Our data and text are free to reuse under CC BY 4.0, with credit to The War Record and a link. See data.

Publisher

The War Record is published by Leetone Enterprises. It is a collation of facts from cited sources, held to one written standard for every party; it carries no opinions and takes no side.
