Events
5,558 recordsEvery event in the record for both wars: what happened, where at town or district level, its status under the one verification rule, and its sources.
The whole record as files and a read-only API, rebuilt with every update and free to reuse under CC BY 4.0 with credit. Third-party figures keep their own source. Each record has a permanent id; history is never rewritten.
Every event in the record for both wars: what happened, where at town or district level, its status under the one verification rule, and its sources.
What the parties said: threats, claims, positions and denials, each attributed and dated, with the audience it was addressed to. Statements are counted, never graded as events.
Each checkable proposition a party put forward, and what the evidence later showed. Opinions and statements of intent are logged but never scored.
Every casualty and displacement figure as each counting body published it, with its exact scope. Figures from different bodies or scopes are never added together. A party counts only its own people; its figures for the other side are in the claims dataset.
Every recorded vote in the UN General Assembly, Security Council, Human Rights Council and IAEA Board on the two wars, one row per country per resolution, as the official record gives it.
Open data series that tie the wars to the wider world: oil, gas, fuel, grain and fertiliser prices, one row per series per date, each with its source and licence. Proprietary indices are not stored.
Every source the record cites, with its kind, its dated affiliation (which party, if any, it is tied to) and how we may use it.
