The statement

Prime Minister Sharif wrote that a US-Iran deal was expected within 24 hours and would be signed electronically, saying 'we are closer to a peace deal than ever before'. Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Baghaei said the memorandum would not be signed on 14 June but could be in the following days, and Treasury Secretary Bessent said a deal could come within days.
