Trump says the US blockade stays in full force until a deal is signed and tells negotiators not to rush

President Trump wrote on Truth Social that the US blockade of Iranian ports would "remain in full force and effect until an agreement is reached, certified, and signed", and told his representatives not to rush into a deal. A senior administration official said Iran had agreed "in principle" to open Hormuz in return for lifting the blockade and to dispose of its highly enriched uranium; Iran did not confirm this. Tasnim said the US was still obstructing parts of the deal, including the release of frozen funds.
