Early on 11 June Iran's military ordered the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz, saying it was 'completely closed to all oil tankers and commercial ships' and that any vessel trying to pass 'would be shot at', Al Jazeera reported; the IRGC cited US 'repeated violations' of the April ceasefire and said it was closed 'until further notice'. The strait had been largely shut since 2 March, with Kpler counting 279 transits between 28 February and 12 April against about 100 a day before the war. CENTCOM said it had disabled eight vessels and redirected 134 under its own blockade. Brent was at $93.18 at 07:02 GMT.
