An Israeli strike on a Lebanese army vehicle on the road near Kfar Tibnit in Nabatieh district killed a brigadier general, a captain and a soldier on 6 June, the Lebanese army said, AP reported. The IDF said the vehicle was moving suspiciously toward its troops after intelligence that Hezbollah would fire from the area, that it acts against Hezbollah and not the Lebanese army, and that the incident was under review. A strike on Saksakiyeh killed six and wounded four, the National News Agency said. President Aoun called the strike a flagrant violation of sovereignty and international law, and Israel ordered residents of Aramta, Mashghara, Kfar Houna, Sajad and Ansariyah to move north of the Zahrani River.
