UN spokesperson Farhan Haq said OCHA recorded more than 100 strikes in Lebanon in 24 hours and 87 people killed over the weekend of 9 to 10 May, and that UNIFIL logged more than 1,296 projectiles attributed to the Israeli military and 64 to Hezbollah from 8 to 11 May, Anadolu reported. He said a $308 million flash appeal for March to May needed more funding to keep health, water and sanitation services running. Lebanon's health ministry put the toll since 2 March at 2,869 killed and 8,730 wounded, and more than 1.6 million people have been displaced.
