The Israeli military ordered residents of Beirut's southern suburbs, including Burj al-Barajneh, Haret Hreik, al-Hadath and Shiyah, to leave immediately, a day after a similar order for all of southern Lebanon. AP reporters saw gridlocked roads as residents fled, and Israel struck the area hours later. Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich said the suburbs would come to look like Khan Younis. Lebanon's health ministry said 102 people had been killed and 638 wounded since 2 March, according to Al Jazeera; AP gave 123 killed and more than 83,000 displaced before the order. Beirut airport suspended flights.
