Israeli machine-gun fire killed two young men and wounded a third in Nabatieh al-Fawqa on 23 June as they stood near an excavator and an Islamic Health Committee team clearing roads and retrieving bodies, Lebanon's National News Agency said, according to Naharnet. Hezbollah called it a 'blatant violation' of the ceasefire. Lebanon's health ministry said 17 deaths were added in the previous 24 hours, bringing its toll to 4,192 killed and 12,171 wounded since 2 March, Dawn reported. A fifth round of US-mediated Lebanon-Israel talks opened in Washington the same day.
