Tasnim reported that Iranian officials had suspended the exchange of texts with US counterparts through a mediator because of continuing hostilities, saying there would be no talks until Iran's and 'the resistance's' views were met. Foreign Minister Araghchi wrote that the ceasefire with the US is 'a ceasefire on all fronts, including in Lebanon', and chief negotiator Ghalibaf called the naval blockade and the Lebanon escalation US non-compliance. The IRGC threatened, via state media, to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed unless Israeli military action stopped. President Trump said he had not been told of any pause and that talks were continuing 'at a rapid pace'.
