Hezbollah's military wing said it fired a barrage of rockets and a swarm of drones at a missile defence site south of Haifa early on 2 March to avenge Khamenei's killing and Israeli strikes since the November 2024 ceasefire, the BBC reported. There were no reports of casualties in Israel. It was the group's first attack on Israel since that ceasefire.
