The IRGC said on 26 May that it reserved the right to retaliate for the US strikes in Hormozgan and that its air defence units downed a US drone and fired at another drone and a fighter jet entering Iranian airspace over the Gulf. IRGC Aerospace Force commander Majid Moosavi wrote that "negotiation with the enemy is pure loss". The US did not confirm losing a drone. The old tracker placed the retaliation warning on 27 May.
