Reportedon one origin only: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.
UNHCR said almost 700,000 people had been displaced across Lebanon within a week, many for the second time since 2024, fleeing toward Beirut, Mount Lebanon, the north and parts of the Bekaa. It said Israeli evacuation warnings covering more than 53 villages and intensified airstrikes had driven the flight, and that its Lebanon operation was 14 percent funded. Fighting between Israel and Hezbollah resumed on 2 March.
