Al Jazeera and AFP reported that Israeli attacks killed at least 11 people in southern Lebanon on 22 May: six in Deir Qanoun en-Nahr including two paramedics and a child, four paramedics in Hannaouiyah, and a man in Nabatieh. Lebanese government figures put the toll since early March at 116 health workers killed, 16 hospitals damaged and 147 ambulances attacked. The Israeli military says Hezbollah uses health facilities to hide weapons and fighters, which Lebanon rejects. Israel separately said an air raid killed two people near the border after "suspicious movement".
