Iranian ballistic missiles struck the southern towns of Arad and Dimona after air defences failed to intercept them, and Israel's health ministry said at least 180 people were wounded, 116 in Arad and 64 in Dimona, Al Jazeera reported. The IDF spokesman said the systems operated but did not intercept the missile and the incident would be investigated, AFP reported. Iranian state TV called the Dimona strike a response to the attack on Natanz; the IAEA said it had no indication of damage to the nearby nuclear research centre.
