Al Jazeera and Reuters reported Israeli attacks across southern Lebanon killed at least 31 people and wounded 40 on 26 May, with dozens of displacement orders for the south and the Bekaa, including Nabatieh residents told to move north of the Zahrani River. The Israeli military said it struck more than 100 Hezbollah sites; Israeli channels reported the ground operation expanding north of the "yellow line", and Al Jazeera's correspondent reported troops crossing the Litani toward Zawtar al-Sharqiyah. Netanyahu said forces were seizing territory and expanding a "security zone". The health ministry put the toll since 2 March at 3,213 killed and 9,737 wounded.
