Israel ordered immediate evacuations of several southern Beirut suburbs, including Haret Hreik, Ghobeiry and Hadath, ahead of strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure, Al Jazeera reported. Lebanon's health ministry said at least 1,001 people, including at least 118 children, had been killed since Israel renewed widespread attacks on 2 March. Israel also said it hit military infrastructure in southern Syria over alleged attacks on Druze civilians in Suwayda, which Qatar, Jordan and Egypt condemned.
