The IRGC said it fired ballistic missiles and drones at the US Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait and the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain early on 28 June in response to US strikes on five Iranian coastal locations, Al Jazeera reported. Kuwait said its air defences were responding to 'hostile missile and drone threats' and Bahrain sounded sirens; the Bahrain Defence Force said it intercepted 'several aerial attacks' and the Interior Ministry said a residential building in Muharraq governorate was damaged with no casualties, Annahar reported. A US official told Reuters there were no US casualties or major damage. Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE condemned the attack on Bahrain.
