The Saudi-led coalition said that on 1 October it intercepted four Houthi drones over Khamis Mushait and two ballistic missiles over Khamis Mushait and Jazan, Al Jazeera reported. The coalition also said a drone attack on 29 September put a transformer at a Medina power station that supplies the Prophet's Mosque out of service, and that drone wreckage showed Houthi involvement; a Houthi military source quoted by Saba denied the attack. The GCC secretary general said the Medina attack "crossed all red lines", The National reported.
