The IRGC's naval branch said it responded to a US 'violation of commitments' by targeting 'US Army deployment sites in the region' and warned any repeat would bring a response 'broader than this', Iran International reported late on 26 June. It cited Article 5 of the Islamabad memorandum, which it said puts control of transit through the strait under Iran's responsibility. The statement gave no locations, and we found no report of damage or casualties.
