Reportedon one origin only: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

Drewry's World Container Index composite stood at $3,549 per 40ft container in the assessment for 11 June 2026. Drewry put Shanghai to Rotterdam at $3,768, Shanghai to Genoa at $5,139 and Shanghai to Los Angeles at $4,683 per 40ft. Drewry said the composite rose 3% on the week, that peak season began earlier than usual, and that Middle East tensions, higher bunker costs and fuel surcharges added upward pressure. Against Drewry's 5 October 2023 assessment of $1,389.5, the composite was up 155% (our calculation from Drewry's figures). Drewry also cited continued Red Sea rerouting lengthening transit times.
