Rights group HRANA says a Mashhad court sentenced two January protest detainees to death

HRANA said on 7 November that branch 5 of the Mashhad Revolutionary Court sentenced two detainees held in Vakilabad prison to death at first instance in a case of people arrested in the January protests, and that death sentences of two others in the case were upheld, Iran International reported. No comment from Iran's judiciary was found.
