Iran's non-compliance with its safeguards agreement: report to the Security Council (Board of Governors resolution)

Adopted. IAEA Board of Governors resolution of 9 September 2026.

Noted Iran's continued non-compliance with its safeguards obligations, called on Iran to remedy it urgently, and reported the matter to the UN Security Council. Proposed by the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany. The IAEA publishes no country votes; diplomats said Russia, China and Niger voted against.
