The Russia-Ukraine war · claims ledger

Ukraine was preparing to detonate a radiological dirty bomb in October 2022.

Unresolvable Claimed by Ministry of Defence of Russia on 23 October 2022.

The statement

In calls with his US, British, French and Turkish counterparts, Defence Minister Shoigu said Ukraine was preparing a provocation with a dirty bomb. Britain, France and the US rejected the claim as transparently false, and the IAEA said on 3 November its inspections at three Ukrainian sites found no sign of undeclared nuclear activity or material.
