Defence secretary Pete Hegseth told the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Brussels that Europe must provide the overwhelming share of future aid to Ukraine, that a return to Ukraine's pre-2014 borders was unrealistic, and that the US could not be primarily focused on European security.
