Ukraine's air force said Russia launched 810 drones and 13 missiles overnight into 7 September, the largest attack of the full-scale war. The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission (HRMMU) said at least five civilians were killed and 41 injured across six regions and Kyiv; Kyiv officials said a woman and her newborn child were among the dead in the capital. A fire broke out at the Cabinet of Ministers building in central Kyiv, the first time the main government building was hit; it was unclear whether a drone, missile or debris caused it. Strikes also hit Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and a bridge in Kremenchuk.
