IAEA board demands Iran give complete information on its enriched uranium and inspector access
Reportedon one origin only: 1 distinct origin, 0 tied to no party.
The IAEA board of governors passed a resolution on 10 June, submitted by the US, UK, France and Germany, asking Iran for complete information on its enriched uranium stocks and access for inspectors, with 21 votes in favour, three against (Russia, China, Niger) and 10 abstentions. The IAEA estimates Iran had 440 kg of 60 percent enriched uranium and says it cannot verify whether any has been diverted. Iran's envoy Reza Najafi called the resolution politically motivated and said it could complicate the ceasefire.
