Confirmedon an admission by the acting party plus an independent origin: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.
At the NATO summit in Ankara on 8 July, Trump said of the ceasefire 'I think it's over', called Iran's leaders 'scum', said the US would 'probably' strike again that night, and threatened to reinstate the naval blockade, hit power and water plants and 'take over' Kharg Island, Al Jazeera and the Guardian reported. He said US negotiators could keep talking, and later said he did not expect a return to full-scale war. A US official told Reuters that technical talks continued. Attacks on power and water plants could breach international law, experts quoted by Al Jazeera said.
