Lloyd's List Intelligence said on 9 July that no vessel above 10,000 deadweight tonnes had crossed the US-coordinated southern route with its AIS switched on since 7 July, though at least two were believed to have crossed dark, Al Jazeera reported. Windward tracked five crossings on 8-9 July against 45 on 6 July; about 130 vessels crossed daily before the war. UKMTO said traffic reflected shipping lines' 'cautious posture'.
