Iranian local media said Abdolraouf Eshaghi, a local commander of the Basij paramilitary force, was killed in a 'terrorist attack' in Parud district, Sistan-Baluchestan province, and Tasnim confirmed his death without details, AFP reported. It was unclear who was behind it. A day earlier Iranian authorities said three people were killed and nine arrested in a raid on hideouts of groups they said were linked to Israel and the US.
