IRGC says it blocked two ships using an "unsafe route" in the Strait of Hormuz
Reportedon one origin only: 0 distinct origins, 0 tied to no party.
The IRGC said on 19 July it blocked two ships that tried to use what it called an 'unsafe route' through the strait and that both were involved in an unspecified 'accident', Al Jazeera reported. Iran says the June memorandum gives it the right to manage shipping in the strait; the US says Iran does not control the waterway and has reimposed its blockade of Iranian ports. We saw no independent account of the two ships.
