Russia launched more than 400 drones and more than 40 missiles at Ukraine overnight into 6 June, Zelensky said, killing four people including three emergency workers in Kyiv, where fires spread through residential buildings and a metro train was hit, the Guardian reported. Russia's defence ministry said the attack was a response to Ukrainian "terrorist acts". Putin had told Trump in a call on 4 June that Russia would have to respond to the attack on its airfields, Trump said.
