Three sources told Reuters that Britain, Italy, Switzerland and Indonesia were on the shortlist Israel and Lebanon agreed as potential contributors to a mechanism to verify Hezbollah's disarmament, Aaj English reported. Two sources said Israel wants inspections to include private homes in southern Lebanese villages, which the Lebanese army has resisted. Israel says it will not withdraw from its roughly 10 km deep zone in southern Lebanon until Hezbollah is disarmed.
