Missile kills two farm workers in Przewodow, Poland; Polish and US officials say it was most likely a Ukrainian air defence missile

A missile struck a grain-drying facility in the Polish village of Przewodow, about 6 km from the Ukrainian border, during the Russian barrage of 15 November, killing two people. Poland's foreign ministry first described it as Russian-made and summoned Russia's ambassador; US President Joe Biden said its trajectory made a launch from Russia unlikely, and US officials said preliminary assessments pointed to a Ukrainian air defence interceptor. Polish presidential aide Jakub Kumoch said on 17 November there was much evidence that a Ukrainian interceptor missed its target and failed to self-destruct. Zelenskyy initially said he was sure it was a Russian missile; Russia denied involvement. Poland, the US and NATO said Russia bore ultimate responsibility for the barrage.
