Ukraine's navy announced temporary routes for civilian vessels to leave the ports of Chornomorsk, Odesa and Pivdennyi, where ships had been stuck since February 2022. It said military and mine risks remained and only owners or captains who confirmed they accepted those conditions could sail. The navy said the routes had been notified to the International Maritime Organization. The routes were not agreed with Russia, which had said ships bound for Ukrainian ports could be treated as military targets.
