A drone hit a carriage of a passenger train carrying nearly 200 people in Kharkiv Oblast, killing at least five, according to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. Regional officials said more than 50 drones on Odesa killed three people and wounded over 30, and further deaths were reported in Sloviansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, for 12 killed overall. Zelensky said there could be no military justification for killing civilians in a train carriage. State gas company Naftogaz said one of its facilities in western Ukraine was on fire, the fifth such attack that month.
