More than 30 cruise missiles were fired at the International Peacekeeping and Security Centre at Yavoriv in Lviv region, about 25 km from Poland, according to Lviv's governor, who said at least 35 people were killed and 134 wounded. Russia's defence ministry said it struck a site holding foreign weapons and killed up to 180 foreign fighters, a claim Ukraine rejected. Ukrainian outlets later reported the toll rose to 64. The base had hosted NATO instructors before the war.
