Ukraine's SBU security service said on 3 June it had detonated explosives underwater at the road and rail bridge linking occupied Crimea to Russia, severely damaging its underwater supports, the Guardian reported. Russian authorities said road traffic on the bridge was temporarily suspended, and Russian state media reported a closure of about four hours, according to the same report. It was the second high-profile Ukrainian operation in three days, after the strikes on Russian air bases.
