The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine said it had verified at least 10,000 civilians killed since February 2022, including more than 560 children, and more than 18,500 injured, adding that the true figure is likely significantly higher. It said the threshold was passed after a 15 November strike in Selydove. It said that from August to October 86 percent of verified civilian casualties were in government-controlled territory and nearly half were far from the front.
