Confirmedon an admission by the acting party plus an independent origin: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

CENTCOM said the destroyer USS Spruance fired its 5-inch gun into the engine room of the Iranian-flagged container ship Touska after six hours of warnings as it tried to breach the US blockade on the way to Bandar Abbas, and Marines from USS Tripoli boarded and took custody of it. Trump announced the seizure on 19 April. It was the first Iranian cargo vessel captured since the blockade began on 13 April, Al Jazeera reported; the ship and its owners are under US sanctions, and its cargo was unclear.
