Ukraine's military intelligence agency (HUR) said its forces sank the Black Sea Fleet missile corvette Ivanovets with naval drones at Lake Donuzlav in western Crimea, and its chief Kyrylo Budanov later said six drones were used. Russia's defence ministry did not comment. It followed the December 2023 strike on the landing ship Novocherkassk at Feodosia and opened a run of Ukrainian attacks on the fleet in early 2024.
