Two missiles strike central Pokrovsk about 40 minutes apart, killing ten

Reportedon one origin only: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

Two missiles hit the centre of Pokrovsk in Donetsk oblast at 7:15 pm and 7:52 pm, damaging apartment blocks, a hotel and public buildings. Ukraine's State Emergency Service said on 13 August that 10 people had died, among them a senior rescue officer, and 82 were injured, including police and rescuers who had responded to the first strike. Russia said it hit a command post of a Ukrainian operational group, which Ukrainian military spokesman Serhii Cherevatyi denied. UN humanitarian coordinator Denise Brown attributed the strikes to Russian forces and called the double strike on the same place within minutes absolutely ruthless.
