Kuwait's armed forces said they detected and destroyed hostile drones in Kuwaiti airspace from early Saturday, and the defence ministry spokesman attributed the attack to Iran, Kuwait Times reported. The army said a government facility in northern Kuwait and civilian vehicles and equipment of a private company on Bubiyan Island suffered material damage from falling debris, with no casualties. Kuwait's foreign ministry called it a blatant violation of its sovereignty. Haaretz's live coverage also carried the Kuwaiti army statement that air defences were intercepting Iranian missiles.
