A Romanian fighter on NATO's Baltic air policing mission shot down a drone over central Estonia, between Vortsjarv and Poltsamaa, with no casualties. Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur said it was likely Ukrainian and aimed at Russia, and that Ukraine's defence minister apologised. Ukraine's foreign ministry apologised for unintended incidents and accused Moscow of deliberately redirecting Ukrainian drones into NATO territory. Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics rejected Russian claims that Ukraine was preparing launches from Latvia as lies.
