Confirmedon two or more distinct origins, at least one tied to no party: 2 distinct origins, 1 tied to no party.

UKMTO reported that a vessel north of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait was hit by an uncrewed surface vessel, causing a fire, and that it sank after its crew was rescued, the Long War Journal reported. The Yemeni government blamed the Houthis, who had not claimed it, the report said, and it cited a Reuters report that the government blamed the group for a projectile that sank an Indian vessel. The Houthis' declared campaign has been aimed at Saudi-linked shipping.
