CENTCOM said on X that it completed its ninth wave at 02:00 GMT on 20 July, hitting military command centres, air defence and coastal surveillance sites, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites and communications networks, without naming locations, Al Jazeera reported. Tasnim, citing a local official, said US strikes hit an area in the town of Khormoj in Bushehr province, and Mehr said the IRGC shot down an MQ-9 drone over Eslamabad-e Gharb in Kermanshah province. President Trump said the strikes honoured US service members killed in Jordan and Iraq.
