Sea and aerial drones struck two commercial vessels about 80 miles off Bulgaria's coast at about 3 a.m. on 6 October, Prime Minister Rumen Radev said, AP reported. The Togo-flagged Alfa Watan sank with no immediate word on its crew, and the Palau-flagged Able, carrying wheat, caught fire; a Bulgarian ferry evacuated its 18 crew, two of them severely injured. Radev called it an unacceptable attack in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone. Zelensky said Ukraine's military was not operating nearby and blamed a combined Russian drone attack; Russia did not comment and NATO referred questions to Bulgaria.
