Confirmedon an admission by the acting party plus an independent origin: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

Poland suspended imports of Ukrainian grain and other foods until 30 June to protect its farmers, and Hungary announced a similar ban; Slovakia and Bulgaria followed. The European Commission said trade policy was an exclusive EU competence and unilateral actions were not acceptable, and later proposed emergency measures for wheat, maize, sunflower seed and rapeseed. Transit through Poland resumed within days.
