Reportedon one origin only: 0 distinct origins, 0 tied to no party.
The IRGC said an explosion set a tanker ablaze after it tried the southern route off Oman's coast on 23 July, and that two other vessels turned back, claiming all three were acting under US orders on a 'mine-laid route', Al Jazeera reported. It said the strait is 'completely closed' while US actions continue and that ships passing without Iranian coordination would meet the same fate. CENTCOM said it had redirected 12 commercial vessels and disabled one since the blockade resumed on 14 July, AP reported.
