Confirmedon an admission by the acting party plus an independent origin: 1 distinct origin, 1 tied to no party.

Ukraine and Russia exchanged prisoners on 4 July, the sixth swap since the 2 June Istanbul round, which provided for the release of wounded, seriously ill and young prisoners and the return of soldiers' bodies. Ukraine's Coordination Headquarters for Prisoners of War said the group included wounded and seriously ill soldiers, people under 25 and civilians, many held since 2022; Russia's defence ministry confirmed the exchange without giving numbers. Ukraine continued to call for an all-for-all exchange, which Russia had rejected.
